Homemade hummus two ways

There is so much I love about hummus. It’s an adaptive treat that goes well with countless veggie meals. It’s great as a spread on bread, awesome as a dip for veggies and a fantastic surprise in a number of dishes. To me, hummus is the ultimate nutritious plant based treat.

Supermarkets offer a wide range of hummus. For a long while I paid hard money for small (plastic) jars of it. Guess what. Making your own hummus is SUPER simple. This recipe is here to serve. Let’s get a grip on what we eat! This baby helps you avoid unnecessary additives, save money and skip some of that despicable single use packaging. Lovely, huh?

Notes

* As we live in different places our ingredients will differ. Thus, the result might differ too. No despair though! You can fine tune your hummus based on your preferences. Play around with adding more olive oil, lemon juice or salt and see what fits your palate most! One size does not fit all. Surely, you deserve the best hummus there is.
